I-20 Information
CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE - First Lutheran School/Good Shepherd is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students, and issue I-20 documents, for students to attend grades K-8 using an F-1 student visa. We welcome foreign students and believe our culturally diverse school family is enriched by shared experiences.
Good Shepherd Lutheran is a day school and does not offer a boarding program. To be considered for enrollment, a guardian must be willing to maintain and support the student and assure the U.S. that the student will not become a public charge in the United States. An I-20 Form will be completed once the applicant has been enrolled as a student.
The first step is to schedule an appointment with Principal Michelle Goetsch for a free educational consultation. Students will be placed in grade levels based on transcripts, age and testing results. Students do not need to be fluent in English. Please bring the following (all documents completed in a language other than English must be translated into English):
-
Application Forms with the $500.00 Application Fee
-
A copy of all required documents on the I-20 checklist
-
A copy of the student's academic records showing grades/courses completed.
-
Proof of guardianship while the applicant is in the United States
-
Immunization Records for polio, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, mumps, and rubella. (A TB test is also required of all students entering a California School.)
